Suzie Q was inspired by Dale Hawkin’s song that was later made popular by Credence Clearwater Revival’s Song Susie Q, crossed with a popular Indonesian name Suzi, which is short for Susan and represents the flower Lily – one of the most delicate and beautiful flowers.

The inspiration follows the song shows devotion for a woman named Susie Q – a woman who had so clearly enraptured the singer’s heart. That is precisely how we feel about good food. Our team of chefs are so enthralled by the beautiful blends of spices on our side of the world that we have dedicated ourselves to showing some of our favourite combinations in bite sized dishes. We feel that small portions are best to share our love and passion for food so that our patrons can savour each bite as if on a journey of self exploration.
