Just North of Kuta - Seminyak pumps every day and night of the week. This world-famous tourist playground is for those with a taste for the finer things - foodies, fashionistas and the luxury set. ’The Yak’ is jam-packed with world-class restaurants, cafes, clubs and cocktail bars.

Here you can shop all day, party all night and recover in your own private villa with a pool and a chef at hand. Nearby Petitenget has been dubbed as Eat Street 2.0  and offers some of the island’s most coveted hotels, beach clubs and restaurants. It is eclectic and the beach is a little more secluded.

When the sun goes down there is no doubt that the nightlife in Seminyak is the best on the island. Venues like Ku De Ta, Tropicola Beach Club, Motel Mexicola and Woo Bar draw international DJ’s and performers year round.  Home to the best beach clubs in Bali with poolside bars, daybeds, beautiful bods and cocktails - it is all about glitz and glam by the sea.

Seminyak is bursting with sophisticated cocktail bars and chic fine dining. Offering wall to wall world class restaurants - it has more international rock star chefs per square metre than anywhere in Bali. Home to iconic AYA Street, Bikini, Mejekawi,Teatro GastrotequeSarong, Merah Putih, Mama San  and more - Seminyak is a culinary hotspot.

The ’Yak is all about stunning sunsets, sexy style and shopping. So much shopping! Whether its dreamy boho crochet, big hats, sexy swimwear to chic designer finds - Seminyak’s shopping strip has fashionistas flocking for its sophisticated island style. Think floaty dresses, leather boots, surfer vintage and luxe resort wear. Here you can load up on cool accessories, menswear for your favourite fella and some of the sexiest lingerie on the island. And shoes - did we mention the shoes?

After Ubud - Seminyak is also the next best place for art lovers who are looking for contemporary art, sculpture and paintings. Head to Jalan Raya Seminyak or Jalan Laksmana for unique finds. Biasa Art Space showcases some of the best avant-garde work on the island.

Days in Seminyak are also meant to be spent lazing beachside. If you want to escape the hordes head to the quiet Petitenget Beach - named after the nearby temple. The sand is grey but it’s become a low key hideout for beach walks and yoga.

North of Kuta and South of Umalas is Seminyak Beach - its cool beachside vibe goes from day into night. Double Six or Blue Ocean Beach is a white sand half kilometre stretch that connects the north of Legian and Oberoi Beach. Jalan Arjuna runs parallel and is lined with cool bars and chic restaurants. Home to the iconic colourful fiesta La Plancha - where you can watch the sun go down with a cocktail from the comfort of your beanbag.
